The Sigmund Freud Complete Works (SFG), established this year by Christfried Tögel, consists of 23 volumes and is the first collection of writings that includes all works intended for publication by Sigmund Freud, including his reviews and contributions to handbooks and encyclopedias. Freud's writings are made accessible in the form in which they were first published. Each text is preceded by a brief introduction to the biographical and historical context. An overview at the end of each volume facilitates the location of texts within the collected writings, the complete works, and the study edition. The 6th volume of the SFG presented here includes, among other works, Freud's monograph "On the Infantile Cerebral Palsy" and his papers "Sexuality in the Etiology of Neuroses," "On the Psychological Mechanism of Forgetting," and "On Decker Memories." Thus, it encompasses all writings published by Freud between 1897 and 1900, with the exception of "The Interpretation of Dreams," which is the 7th volume of the SFG.
