In the 4th edition of the Wiesbaden Compliance Day, the presentations focus on current developments and legal issues in compliance that pose particular challenges for companies. Foremost among these is the impact of the GDPR on data protection law and its effects on internal corporate processes. Additionally, the evolution of corporate social responsibility is examined, which has gained binding force in German law through the implementation of the CSR Directive. The obligations of corporate bodies are also in the spotlight, discussing the implications of compliance management systems on criminal liability, the significance of breach of trust, and the insurability of compliance violations through D&O insurance.
