In today's professional world, it is expected that a physicist or physics teacher can handle computers. The education must meet this requirement. In this book, the authors describe in a very practical manner how physical experiments can be increasingly evaluated in laboratories with the help of computers. They demonstrate ways to integrate computers more extensively into laboratory work. The detailed description of each experiment also allows for some of them to be implemented at the school level. The list of presented computer-linked laboratory experiments includes classic experiments that have been modernized in terms of measurement technology (e.g., strain gauges); classic experiments that become more efficiently evaluable (Pohl's pendulum and nonlinear oscillation as well as resonance); and experiments that are only possible through the use of computers, such as the rotating magnetic dipole.
