Verena Scheidel and Manuel Wassmer are among Germany's best amateur chefs and present over 130 new delicacies from their homeland in "Schwarzwälder Tapas2." A highlight of the new book is the wine recommendations for each tapas recipe by Natalie Lumpp, one of Germany's most renowned wine sommeliers. In addition to numerous competitions, the two amateur chefs won the Cooking Cup in Barbados in 2012 and in Andalusia in 2015, earning the title of Best Amateur Chefs in Germany. In 2017, they secured second place in the Cooking Star competition in Cyprus. They have also appeared on television shows such as "Das Perfekte Dinner," "ARD-Buffet," and "Frank Elstner's Menschen der Woche.".
