Astronomical concepts are addressed starting from the experiential world of young people, and the acquired knowledge is then applied back to everyday life. The problem-oriented presentation of the material involves students as researchers and encourages them to engage in independent, insightful learning. Interdisciplinary sections on topics related to the environment or health demonstrate the applications of astronomy. Project pages encourage students to independently observe celestial bodies, promoting social forms of learning.
