Chemistry Plus is part of a new teaching resource network for mathematics and science education in high schools. With its interdisciplinary connections and offerings for project-oriented work, it is excellently suited for a hands-on and goal-oriented teaching approach. Chemistry Plus consistently implements modern didactic insights: chemical concepts are addressed based on the students' experiences, and the acquired knowledge is applied back to everyday life. Tables, overviews, illustrations, student experiments, teacher experiments, tasks, and key information are integrated into the text. The problem-oriented presentation of the material engages students as seekers and researchers, encouraging them to learn independently and insightfully. On project pages, students learn to work on assignments independently.
