The focus is on the independent learning of students. This is ensured through stimulating learning landscapes, each consisting of three parts:

1. Travel Guide: A generously designed, inviting double page to start with ideas, images, and more.
2. Excursions: Concrete offerings, supported by songs, images, poems, stories, sources, and factual texts, to address the theme of the learning landscape in a consistent double-page format.
3. Souvenirs: A concluding double page to secure learning knowledge and for self-evaluation.

The materials are structured in such a way that teachers can establish their own learning paths and focal points in their lessons with their religious education groups. Diverse, unused image and text materials, the illustrated lexicon in the appendix, and the work impulses on each double page motivate the acquisition of foundational knowledge and methods.
