Information about the series: German for teenagers and young adults. Prima is characterized by an open methodological-didactic concept; the topics are drawn from the everyday lives of the learners. The teaching material progresses along the CEFR in seven volumes to level C1. Prima is aligned with the guidelines for Fit in Deutsch, the language examination for teenagers developed by the Goethe-Institut, as well as the Zertifikat Deutsch for teenagers and the German Language Diploma. The key didactic features include: a communicative approach, focus on realistic situations, promotion of free communication, integrated development of the skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, learner-activating exercise forms, development of language awareness, targeted pronunciation training, and the imparting of cultural knowledge about German-speaking countries.
