He is currently working with his research group at Emory University. Professor Hill received his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1975 under the supervision of George M. Whitesides and completed his postdoctoral training at Stanford University under Richard H. Holm. After his teaching position at the University of California, Berkeley, he moved to Emory University, where he is currently the Goodrich C. White Professor of Science.
