Shortly after the financial crisis reached its first peak in early summer 2009, Jesuit Antoine Derride and philosopher and conceptual artist Christoph Zehntner engaged in discussions at the Swiss Institute in Rome about the specific role of art in the ongoing process toward the sought-after optimum in human coexistence.
