Bond is temporarily working for the American government. His partner, the tough and beautiful Cedar, is the daughter of his old friend Felix Leiter. Their adversary? An old enemy, the legendary SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge, and Extortion) has resurfaced. Bond and Cedar find themselves in a variety of deadly and terrifying situations - from airplane hijackings to plunging elevators, swarms of killer ants in the Midwest to horrors in a private monorail - before finally encountering the heir to Blofeld's murderous empire.
