A large inheritance allows James Bond to finally quit his hated position at the Secret Service and indulge in the sweet life in Monte Carlo with the enchanting computer specialist Persephone "Percy" Proud. Additionally, he offers his services on the open market and soon attracts his first client: his old nemesis SPECTRE. But is everything really as it seems? In the service of his new employers, Bond must undergo a series of devilish trials and thwart a plan that threatens to plunge the entire world into chaos.
