The war is over. But Rick, Negan, and everyone else will realize that they are not the only ones in the big, wide world! The war has been over for a while now. There is still much rebuilding to be done, but Negan's disappearance is already being felt everywhere. While the former warlord sits in a dark dungeon, the survivors have built a stable network from the Kingdom to the Hilltop, enabling protected trade and the formation of a crafts and agricultural community. The goal: to seize the opportunity to create a more humane world from scratch, so they only have to worry about the undead again. However, when Jesus, Eugene, Rosita, and the others try to divert a horde of undead away from their territories, they encounter a small group of strangers led by a woman who behaves strangely.
