Product details
Foreword "Danger Zone Science Fiction Stories" is a tribute to the famous US TV series The Twilight Zone from the 1950s and 60s. I was too young for the original German broadcast at the time, but I didn't miss the reruns of some of the 156 episodes in the early 1970s. Under the cumbersome title Unlikely Stories, later known as Stories That Cannot Be Explained, ARD, ZDF, and regional broadcasters offered the black-and-white episodes to a wide audience, providing a glimpse into another world, into other dimensions. Back then, terms like fantasy, fantasy, or science fiction were familiar to only a few. But today, every fan of these genres knows the term The Twilight Zone. Werner Karl, 2011.
