Product details
In 2006, the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) came into force. This study examines the effects of the AGG and the newly introduced discrimination prohibitions on occupational pension law. The author first reviews various provisions that were previously common in occupational pension law to determine whether they may have become unlawful due to the new discrimination prohibitions. Subsequently, he analyzes the implications of the finding that a provision that was permissible until 2006 may no longer be compliant with the law.
