For a good film, it is not only important to have a great story and a solid structure, but equally important is to portray characters with a complex personality structure. This book emerged from a seminar that the author held at the Film Workshop Munich. The author provides insights to discover interesting and new alternatives for plot development that may not have been considered before. Classic conflict types, personality styles, and their disorders are presented as psychopathies, and the wants and needs of the film character are specifically demonstrated through exemplary complex conflicts.
