The Law on the Introduction of Virtual General Meetings of Stock Corporations: This dissertation examines the law on the introduction of virtual general meetings of stock corporations from July 26, 2022. It traces the path of this long-debated idea from the pandemic legislation of the GesRuaCOVBekG to the currently applicable law. The introduction of the virtual general meeting is assessed as overall successful; however, the dissertation also identifies several shortcomings for which a specific catalog of measures for legislative improvement is presented.

Adrian Felix Koch studied at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg and the University of Glasgow. Following his first state examination in law in 2022, he began his doctoral studies. Alongside his dissertation, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Business Law, Labor and Social Law, Department I: Business Law under Professor Dr. Jan Lieder. In 2024, he obtained an LL.M. from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago and passed the examinations for admission as an Attorney at Law in the State of New York. Since early 2025, he has been a legal trainee at the Berlin Court of Appeal.
