Werner Skrentny's "Great Book of German Football Stadiums" was celebrated almost hymnically when it was first published eight years ago. It quickly gained the status of a classic that must not be missing from any fan library. It has gone through three editions and has been completely sold out for some time. Now, at last, the book is being re-released: fully revised and updated. All important stadiums built since the first edition are, of course, included, such as the Allianz Arena in Munich and the Central Stadium in Leipzig. New are also the many color illustrations. The aim remains to honor the approximately 350 stadiums not only for their architecture but also for their sporting significance.
