The author presents the essential parameters of the complex administrative procedure for the export of war weapons from Germany in his study. The investigation begins with the constitutional requirement from Article 26, Paragraph 2 of the Basic Law. Additionally, there is a focused examination of the export criteria from the War Weapons Control Act, as well as the political principles of the federal government regarding the export of war weapons and other military goods. In his critical review, the author ultimately concludes that the current approval practice is partially unconstitutional.
