Unlike reading from a children's Bible, everyone listens attentively as children depict their experiences with Jesus, describe the donkey's entry into Jerusalem, a disciple tells a story, or Mary shares her experience with the angel in dialogue form with her friend Elizabeth. The individual stories are prepared in the following teaching units: God becomes human, Jesus heals, Jesus and the despised, Jesus tells parables, Passion and Resurrection. They encompass all the important events in the life of Jesus. The units are didactically designed as lesson plans, providing teachers, even those teaching outside their subject area, with an indispensable source of ideas for religious education. They are also suitable for the primary level of special education.
