The commentary, resulting from extensive teaching and preaching activities, primarily focuses on the literary form and theological content of the probably oldest Gospel. However, it also takes into account the processes of transmission of its materials and texts in early Christianity, in which, despite some breaks, the testimony of God and self-testimony of Jesus is preserved. The interpretation takes the narrator seriously in his time, while also addressing religious and historical analogies. From the very beginning, the Gospel serves as a narrative community document that guides life according to Jesus Christ.
