How does one come up with the idea of founding a Remida? I get asked this often. The answer lies in my personal and professional biography. As a young educator, I saw the exhibition "The Hundred Languages of Children from Reggio" in the Hamburg market hall in 1988. Since then, this educational and pedagogical philosophy has never left me. During my studies and later as a daycare center director, I continued to engage with the fundamental principles of Reggio pedagogy, later delving into social marketing and eventually completing a fundraising training. When a colleague, who had just returned from a study trip to Reggio Emilia, told me about the Remida, I was fascinated—I had always opened my father's leftover drawer at his workshop as a child and found many useful things. It was immediately clear to me: A Remida is a real.
