Drawing and painting are among the most popular forms of expression for children in early childhood. Education experts see these and other artistic activities as important building blocks of cultural education, and UNESCO defines cultural education as a fundamental human right. For many parents and educational professionals, it is about more than just creating a "pretty picture"; they also perceive the images as expressions and communications of children's perceptions, ideas, and feelings.
