We all develop ideas within our families and close social circles about how children should grow up. These ideas are taken for granted; they represent what we consider "normal." However, the differences become apparent when children are cared for not only within their families but also in daycare centers or by childminders. There, families encounter educational professionals who, due to their training, personal experiences, and social and cultural backgrounds, may interact with children differently.
