However, three months before the federal elections, not only her colleagues are playing dirty. Numerous interest groups are also trying to manipulate public opinion through targeted misinformation on the internet and in the press, aiming to influence the election results. In this context, Ellen encounters the anonymous hacker group deanon, which seeks to expose corrupt and deceitful politicians, the former elite soldier Jörg, who previously eliminated supposed terrorists in the name of the state, and the shady figure Albrecht, who is said to be orchestrating a staged assassination to sway the political climate.
