Austrian farmers' wives are once again giving insight into their pots: The new Farmers' Wives Cookbook offers a variety of delicious recipes that range from traditional to creative. There are three Farmers' Wives cookbooks, which have collectively reached a total print run of nearly 60,000 copies to date. The farmers' wives were once again asked for their favorite recipes, with the theme being traditional and creative. Once more, the farmers' wives from Vorarlberg to Burgenland and from Waldviertel to Gailtal have provided a wealth of recipes, from which the best have been selected for the book. Whether soups, main dishes, or desserts and cakes, there are recipes for lovers of typical rural cuisine as well as many original creations; all based on the genuine, unadulterated culinary art of our farmers' wives. Delicious everyday recipes alternate with grandmother's classics.
