There are many vegetarian and vegan cookbooks available. However, this is the first cookbook by punks, not just for punks. For years, the vegetarian recipe page has had a fixed place in the punk and hardcore fanzine Ox, and after over 25 issues, the editors deemed it appropriate to compile these partly original, partly reader-submitted recipes and to include guest recipes from bands, labels, and other scene figures. This cookbook emphasizes not only clear instructions but also the fun of cooking: all recipes come with suitable music recommendations and are written in an entertaining manner.
