Farms are not just places for food production. They are also excellent learning environments, meeting spaces, and practical development islands that can initiate social change. Tobias Hartkemeyer, Peter Guttenhöfer, Manfred Schulze, and many other experienced educators, researchers, and practitioners demonstrate how pedagogy and agriculture can mutually enrich each other and open up new development perspectives. Their handbook on action pedagogy and community building in agriculture is enriched by the rewarding experience that one's own actions can make a tangible difference.
