This complicates their orientation in everyday life, which is heavily influenced by measurement aspects. The two exercise books for grades 1/2 and 3/4 introduce measurements step by step: they build on children's experiences from speaking and play situations, compare representatives directly and indirectly, and lead through measuring with standardized sizes to converting units of measurement. The exercise book for measurements in grades 3/4 includes: - Lengths in mm, cm, m, km, decimal numbers, and conversions - Monetary values with decimals - Times with minutes, time spans with minutes and seconds - Masses in g, kg, and t, including decimal numbers - Area measurements and volumes - Suggestions for hands-on engagement with measurements.
