The book is intended for all those who already know the initial lessons of Modern Hebrew and now want to acquire the grammatical foundation for it. However, the work is neither a complete grammar nor a textbook, but is limited to imparting basic knowledge. The focus is on the description of the Modern Hebrew verb: root, tenses, binjanim, irregularities, word formation. In addition, other gammatic problems of Hebrew that arise in connection with the verb are examined, starting from the central topic. Care is taken to ensure that the corresponding grammatical terms of Hebrew are also used and explained. In this way, the book leads step by step to independent and successful use of grammars, dictionaries and verb tables.
