The book is based on the experiences and insights gained during and through the C course of the SKT at DHBW Stuttgart. Starting with program structuring (flowcharts, Nassi-Shneiderman diagrams), it first explains the structure of programs using pseudocode, which is then concretely implemented in the C programming language. The essential syntax and semantics are introduced and deepened through the development of two example programs, as well as reinforced by programming physical and mathematical problems. Solutions to each task presented in the book can be found in the appendix or as a digital download. The programs are gradually enhanced with new features, culminating in the implementation of a graphical user interface. Project management is addressed from the very beginning.
