This book addresses theories, implementations, and the current development of corporate governance in a globalized world driven by information and communication technologies. The book is divided into three parts. Part I deals with theoretical aspects, perspectives, and interrelationships of external and internal control mechanisms, thereby laying the foundation for understanding the constructs of existing corporate governance systems. These are examined through the presentation of selected countries in Part II. Part III addresses current issues of corporate governance in a globalized world. Due to global interconnections, such as through supply chains, it is crucial for companies to think and act not only locally but also in terms of corporate governance.
