Product details
Literary utopias are mediums of a specific cultural communication. Their textual organization, which distinguishes them from other genres, consists of a mobilization of images of the satirically described reality and the design of imaginary counter-images. These counter-images are both narrative and visual. They refer implicitly or explicitly in a critical manner to the respective social reality in which they arise - whether as a wish or as a nightmare. Of particular importance are literary designs that anticipate the future and contrast the real with the possible in the sense of possibility thinking. Literary utopias allow for fictional trial actions; therefore, their various aesthetic forms are also the place of their self-reflection.
