This volume includes the chapters on Electricity and Magnetism, Optics, as well as Measurements and their Evaluation. As in the previous chapters, great emphasis is placed on bridging to the numerous specialized fields, particularly in electrical engineering. For study programs with electrical engineering as a minor, this content is well covered. The final chapter imparts the knowledge and skills necessary for experimental work, whether in internships or in thesis projects, to be able to evaluate results competently. Special consideration is given to the mathematical foundations in both volumes, as the author is well aware of the difficulties faced by students from years of experience conducting preparatory courses before the start of their studies. The requirements are gradually increased and adjusted as necessary.
