Control tasks for different learning objective levels Learning objectives are just one aspect of the complex teaching/learning process, but they are a very essential one that requires special attention. They assist educators in planning a learning process by providing support in both content selection and the planning of teaching activities as well as the evaluation of teaching. For learners, learning objectives serve to plan learning activities and to monitor their learning. Especially in self-directed learning processes, learners need concrete learning objective guidelines and qualified feedback. However, many eLearning offerings only provide multiple-choice tests without verifying whether these are suitable for individual cases. In this book, the authors develop a model that addresses different levels of learning objectives.
