The first scientific German complete translation of the approximately 50 writings from the Nag Hammadi manuscript collection, as well as the texts of Codex Berolinensis 8502, is now available in a handy study edition, already in its second, revised edition. Like the hardcover edition, the study edition offers the complete translation of the texts, while introductions and notes are presented in a shortened form or as selections. The texts, which were primarily produced in the 2nd and 3rd centuries, are among the most important manuscript discoveries of the 20th century. They are of immense significance, particularly for the study of biblical sciences and early church history.
