The Maecenata Schriften series is an interdisciplinary scientific book series focused on civil society research. It was published by Lucius & Lucius in Stuttgart from 2007 to 2015; since 2016, it has been published by De Gruyter Oldenbourg in Berlin. The series is edited by Rupert Graf Strachwitz, Eckhard Priller, and Christian Schreier. Monographs and edited volumes that relate thematically to the fields of civil society, civic engagement, philanthropy, and foundations are eligible for inclusion in the series. Qualification works, studies, results of research projects, conference proceedings, or expert reports can also be included. The series is open to any author; a direct working relationship with the Maecenata Institute for Philanthropy and Civil Society is not required.
