Product details
Walter Serner was initially close to the Dadaist movement but then turned to writing crime novels that differ from the conventional representatives of the genre through deliberate moral indifference. "The Tigress," published in 1925, tells the bizarre love story of the con artist Fec and the beautiful prostitute Bichette, known as "the Tigress." Not least because of some sex scenes, the novel, which is now considered Serner's main work, caused a scandal upon its release.
