Product details
Leo Tolstoy (1828-1910) experienced the siege of Sevastopol by the French and English as a young officer during the Crimean War of 1854/1855, until the capture of the port city. His three-part account of the events made him famous the following year. In addition to the so-called Sevastopol Tales, the volume also includes three stories based on Tolstoy's military service in the Caucasus. This is a reprint of the edition published in Leipzig in 1901.
