Paul Paulig is in the first grade of elementary school and is actually a happy child, if it weren't for Noah, a boy from his class who makes his life difficult. Now Paul is afraid of school, because who likes to have their gym bag kicked around the room, and who wants to be called a fat firecracker? Because Noah is so mean and the whole class teases Paul, he feels really bad. So after school, Paul escapes into his dreams. He is a cowboy, herding cattle with his friends and catching cattle thieves in the act. What an adventure!
