"Demenz - what now?" is a book for relatives and friends of those affected by dementia. It provides a general overview of the different forms of dementia. The focus of this book is on interacting with individuals with dementia. Questions that frequently arise in connection with dementia are addressed in this book. What does the diagnosis of dementia mean for me and for my relative or friend? What can I expect for both of us? Will our lives change fundamentally? What is the progression of the disease? What should I prepare for? You will find answers to all these questions, including the question: How can I prevent dementia? In the appendix, you will also find a self-test, as forgetfulness and lack of concentration alone are not necessarily signs of dementia.
