Product details

All of the poems and numerous limericks by the composer Wilhelm Killmayer, who passed away in 2017. Killmayer was not only one of the most interesting and independent composers of the post-war era but also a gifted comedian. He particularly loved creating tongue twisters and limericks, in which he playfully shook up musicians, their instruments, and the music industry, much to the delight and amusement of his many friends. This side of him is now to be made accessible to the public. There was a young man who played the bassoon, he played it poorly, yet with agility and tune; sometimes he played for twelve nights, God! how that weakened him, he wasn't dead, but the bassoon was junk.
