Product details
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) published the results of its fifth assessment in this year's report on climate change and its influencing factors. They point to various changes in the atmosphere that are highly likely caused by anthropogenic factors. Since the 20th century, the climate situation has deteriorated up to the present day. This ongoing transformation leads to rising sea levels, warming of the world's oceans, and other divergent climate events. The emission of greenhouse gases (GHGs) is crucial to climate change. To counteract the effects of climate change, a reduction of GHGs on a global level is necessary. Emissions trading is an environmental policy instrument to regulate the emission of GHGs.
