In her short life, Aglaja Veteranyi filled numerous notebooks and scraps of paper with texts. She continuously crossed out, rewrote, and allowed her words and sentences to flow from one text to another. Thus, despite two posthumously published books, her estate still contains a considerable number of unpublished texts. The second volume, "Café Papa," gathers three larger texts that the author intended to pursue further: "Café Papa" is a draft for a novel about a father, the second (Caution: Spicy Chicken Soup) pertains to the Russian avant-garde author and "master of the grotesque" Daniil Kharms, and the third (Funny Cemetery) is the author's report published in the "SonntagsZeitung" about a trip to Romania, to the Carpathian village of Sarpanta on the border with Ukraine. All three texts reference the author's origins.
