The ritual prayer in Islam is one of the five pillars of Islam and is a religious obligation for Muslims. This work not only provides a detailed account of the individual steps of the ritual prayer, including corresponding illustrations and a transcription according to the rules of the German Oriental Society, but it also extensively discusses the philosophy of prayer, the different types of prayer, and numerous related aspects.
