Mäxchen Pichelsteiner is only five centimeters tall, and everyone calls him the little man. At night, he sleeps comfortably in a matchbox, and during the day, he performs with Professor Jokus von Pokus in the circus. As an artist, Mäxchen becomes world-famous and receives tempting offers from the biggest circuses in the world. But one day, he suddenly disappears.
