Lifting equipment, namely cranes, come in various designs, ranging from rail-mounted trolleys to tower cranes. What they all have in common is that they are used to lift and move loads. If they are misused, it can lead to significant problems. Therefore, knowing the hazards and acting accordingly must be the foundation for every crane operator. This includes the required training with examinations in theory and practice, as well as additional training for specific areas of application if necessary, along with regular briefings. Before starting work, familiarization with the equipment and instruction regarding operational conditions are essential. This brochure serves both as course material and as a reference work.
