The church is in a rapid crash. It is precisely through his work as director of the Recollectiohaus that Wunibald Müller has come across a church over the last 25 years that is increasingly rotten, lapsed and in danger of collapse. But what richness, what deep experience did we lose if the Church no longer existed? Perhaps, on the other hand, much of what we have understood by church so far must pass away, collapse, so that we can see what is at stake again. For this is what constitutes the Church: people who pray, who love, who are there for the others who meet in "his name" and experience that "he" is among them. No recipes or even solutions in view of the difficult situation, but spiritual and psychological suggestions and encouragement against fear and resignation.
