Author: Sonja Still Sonja Still, a journalist, author, and filmmaker, grew up in Munich and at Lake Tegernsee. She studied German Studies and Linguistics in Münster. After completing her traineeship, she took her first steps in the profession at WDR, and today she works as a freelance author for television and magazines (including Landlust). Her main focus is on tourism and travel, with an emphasis on home and tradition in Bavaria. In 2010, during the Cultural Year of the Ruhr Area, she received the Grimmepott from the Grimme Institute in collaboration with the LWL Museum Zeche Zollern in Dortmund for a cross-media project on the theme of "Home." At Allitera, she has already published two travel guides: the Tegernsee Travel Guide and the Miesbach Travel Guide, both of which tell stories about the region where the author is from, including its history and tales.
