This highly successful adaptation of the classic picture book "Der Struwwelpeter" is based on the language usage of the Markgräfler Land, particularly the dialect of the Wiesental, the home of the most famous Alemannic poet, Johann Peter Hebel (1760-1826). It represents a variant of High Alemannic that is well understood in large parts of the Alemannic language area.
